Larry Coryell (April 2 1943-) is an American jazz guitarist.

He was natural around Galveston, Texas in 1943. Fallowing growing higher within Seattle, Washington, in 1965, Coryell moved to New York City where he became part of Chico Hamilton's quintet, replacing Gabor Szabo. Around 1967 & 1968, he recorded sustaining Gary Burton. His music when you took a late 1960s and early 1970s combined the influences of rock, jazz and eastern music. He formed his have class action, A Eleventh Home, around 1974. As a consequence a break-higher of this band, Coryell played chiefly acoustic guitar, however returned to electric guitar afterwards in the 1980s.
